Extra Notes re: Permissions Post

Quite a bit of the information regarding this version of Kid Eternity is made up or extrapolated for the permissions post.

Name: I don't think that his name (Kit) is ever actually said in the issues where he appears. This is a carry-over from the 'Earth-S' continuity. In the June 1982 issue of World's Finest, good ol' E. Nelson Bridwell canonized that Captain Marvel Junior and Kid Eternity were brothers (despite the original versions of the characters coming from two different publishers -- Fawcett Comics and Quality Comics respectively).

Is the New Earth version of Kid Eternity related to Captain Marvel Junior? I don't know. I usually have Kit remembering the origin where he died in 1942 (which held true in 'Earth-S' and 'Vertigo' miniseries... who knows what the Vertigo ongoing was doing, lol) but that would do weird things to the timeline. Personally, I like to think that Kid Eternity remembers a 'dead' origin story and not the details of his New Earth life. If he actually spent time with Freddy Freeman (who would remember having a younger brother), the details would be clearer.

But they never met on panel so here we are.

Height: I settled on making Kid Eternity fairly short at 5'5" because he's drawn at only a few inches taller than Wonder Girl in Teen Titans vol 3, #69 and she is listed as 5'3" in the DC wiki on Fandom. (Apparently, New Earth Kara Zor-El is 5'5" and Kon-El is 5'7" and it amuses me to use these references.)

Weight: As usual, I looked up a healthy weight range for the character's height and made my decision on whether they look thin, average, or heavy for their frame.

Orientation: I'm leaving it open as "likely asexual" because this particular version of Kid Eternity just doesn't seem interested. He longs for friends as a connection. Cassie Sandsmark is pretty much the only member of their version of the Teen Titans who seems to treat him well as a friend, so they are close, but there isn't any romantic attraction there on either side.

He and Eddie Bloomberg have an awkward moment in issue #68 that was likely intended as Have We Mentioned These Characters Are Heterosexual Today? but I've used it as the basis for a crush on Kid Eternity's side in a fanfic. (Though really, Kid Eternity's "interest" in Eddie is how the guy can be so cavalier about not knowing whether or not his soul is going to Neron once he dies. Kid Eternity says so on-panel.)

Basically it's up in the air! And I'm willing to play things out.
